Dave from Queens & Attends Linden
Says:
Hello most loyal and adored fan from NJ, I would like to kindly address your comment on us "admiring" last year's chip.
I would hope that none of my brothers are still playing with a false sense of confidence. This year is totally different, as we found out two weeks ago. Not many people were at the game and know how it went down, but let me just say it took a miracle bigger than last year's to beat Fellowship. We need more of everything this year- more focus, more mental toughness, more faith, more discipline, but not more confidence, because at this point, that would make us complacent. We don't want to come off as cocky, cause we know that God helped us in a mighty way. We put the trophy in the Pastor's Study and got back in the rat race. Because we don't want those memories, as sweet as they are, clouding our vision of another one. Good luck and God bless to all!

First and foremost I pray the LORD blesses everyone in 2008 and beyond. Anyway, I would like to send congrats to New Dimension on there destructive victory over us. It is not over yet for us, we are going to come back stronger and better next time. God's willing we will be seeing you in the playoff if all goes well this season.

Aisha from NJ & Attends The Lovely Linden
Says:
My team, please accept my humblest apologies that I have been so consumed with work and travel that I did not even realize the season has started. But congrats on that first win.

I know we had a great season last year and we all still admiring the "ring" on our fingers but in the end that win was due to the Lord himself and of course who you guys are as players and as a team. Let this season be just as fun, just as rewarding and just as blessed as the last.

Aisha's Thought of the Day (ATD):

"Never underestimate the heart of a champion but remember that what you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player. "

Says:
G'day to all!! I'm not new to this guest book thing and definitely not new to this league but I've been reading the postings since before the league commenced and I must say that I like the intensity guys!! Keep it up!! Everyone believes that their team is the best and that's the way it should be!! One thing that I must say though is in my opinion, "great" players NEVER say that they're great... Good luck to all during the season and be safe... much love to New Dimension, GNYC, Lighthouse, Emmaus, and all my other dudes throughout the league

Happy Holidays!!!
"The Greatest Show On Earth" is no hype my friend. I only hope your team gets the gift of a chance at ever winning. Because I have love for you and your team mates, I offer you some advice. There is no shot clock. Not if, but when, your team find yourselves facing another 70 point loss. Please just hold the ball and hang on for dear life. You all should have begged or even paid the Ward twins to play with yall.
Congratulations! to my nephew Aaron, on his baptism this sabbath. Further proving basketball is a ministry. Stay strong in the Lord, because you have truly made satan angry.
Merry Christmas to all and a Happy New Year!

NO DISRESPECT COACH Powell, but when I referred to your team as infant felines, it was only meant to turn down the volume on the "HYPE" your man norm
10 was producing. As far as scratching and clawing is concerned, I'll make sure me and my Bx temple teammates take their necessary vet shots before we see you'll on the court.
Sincerely,

Says:
Hey big tyme, this is "BIGG DADDY" are you really calling us out like that. Kittens instead of PANTHERS, just remember what happens when any kind of cat has his back against the wall, they come out scratching and clawing, and they always land on their feet lol.

I'm embarrassed when I look at the final scores from our game on 12/15. I'm also not a man of empty promises, but I guarantee mo' fight and a better outcome against ET on 1/5/08. Brand new year, brand new effort. And for those non-believers like my man norm no.1 0 and my baby bro Young mark along with the other black kittens, all doubts will be erased on the court.
Sincerely,
R.Young/BIG TYME

Marvin from Bronx & Attends Bronx
Says:
Hey guys, Hanz I was shocked to see your statement. I look forward to the matchup.
Tdollaz we are small every year so why should this year be any different! Two chips with only one big man. But this year will be tougher so take it easy on us please, I will greatly appreciate it.

Calvary and Corona what do they look like. They are new and I have not gotten a chance to see them yet. Calvary's 103 points was impressive. I see that we will have some new challenges this year. I better crack the whip.

tdollaz number 14
Says:
I wasn't gonna comment but u know what why not yes " hopefully" we can get back on point jan 5th. Now flatbush was a decent team but there was no way in the world we should have lost by 30 points that's a joke.

Hanz???? No comment I don't even know who u were, really can't remember anyone doing much but hit free throws. City tab we let each other down and if we play like that on the 5th........ 30 points will prolly we 70 plus points and I am sure the refs with call the game. From my 1st year last year with u guys we haven't played one game with our hearts till down by 30 at half with white plains and coming back to win by 1.

Only game I can remember being us was to ur team norm, lol, and again only winning by 1 better yet my free throws no that hurts. I can tell now this is gonna be a long long season.

Marv bronx looking kinda small this year but I respect u guys. Still got the press down pack. Got marion I call him baby garnett if that boy had a little more weight on him and some more ups would be a problem.
Anyway happy holidays to you all. And lets play ball after the new years

I was waitng for somebody to comment, hate being the first. Makes it seem like I dont have a life. Everyone knows by now I just love this thing.
Marv, you guy's looked pretty good, being the first game and all. You know I was gonna come out. Yall still my favorite team. Did you also notice Colin, The Linden Duo (my new name for them), Ty and my shadow (my nephew). You guy's keep and eye on him, he's playing with the seniors this year. The kid is really gonna be something special. I like the little Lewis tandem you got going there. By the way Cecil, the only 20 Hanz dropped must have been fouls.
T Dollaz, what happened.? I guess yall can redeem yourselves Jan. 5th.
GNYC Ebenezer especially Joe, its only the first game. Dont let your frustration get the best of you. All you guy's gotta do is make the extra pass and yall will be find. Bronx is a very deceptive team. They may look harmless, but they are very dangerous. Remember the extra pass and see yall in the play offs.
O.k. enough is enough. Community Tab, Westinghouse and my good people of Brooklyn, are you ready? The Greatest Show on Earth is coming to your town. EP-HE-SUS!! EP-HE-SUS!! Starring: The Blues Brothers, 20-10-5, Father and Son, Dizzy, Lil Willy, O-Jack, Norm
10, Pretty Tony, A.I.,J.P., Young Mark, O my goodness, and last but not least (The Original
10) and no you not getting your number back, Big Matt. And your Ring Master for the evening "Big Daddy" Greg Powell. I can't forget Ashley and Mike Mayo.
Be there! Or Be Square!
( I will try and pretend that you all came to see us. When really you probably got there early for the Linden game)
God Bless US All !!
