White Plains the Undisputed 2010 Champion of the NCBL League
2009-2010 NCBL CHAMPIONS WHITE PLAINS
Well NCBL the season is officially over and it ended where it started in 2009. "White Plains are the undisputed champions". They took Flatbush lunch and did so with all the flare and fire of champions. With the win White Plains has done the impossible and proved why they are in the conversation as one of the best teams ever. Flatbush played hard at times but overall I have to admit they seemed unprepared.
They didn't get good guard play especially with the number of turnovers to assist ratio. The coaching staff had the wrong line up in at times and it cost them in the end because White Plains smelled blood and they went for the kill. Flatbush had a two point lead at the end of the first half and for what ever reason decided to go with a smaller line up that proved to be ineffective. They gave White Plains players more confidence and they started to hit open shots and before you know it they were up by 10 points. Flatbush mounted a comeback but the players on the court appeared to have given up. Now as the saying goes we have one more team going fishing on the Jersey Shore and Flatbush I rented a special boat that would be leaving dock on Sunday see you there.
Well what more can be said of White Plains team and coach. They seemed to play their cards right and the result another victory. They could have pushed the enevelop more however, they decided to hold the ball in the second half and forced Flatbush to play them man to man, but for what ever reason Flatbush didn't match up properly and gave up easy baskets.
The fans were treated to another high flying act by White Plains high jumpers and folks these dudes can fly. Great game by both teams and the better team won this night. So as the final seconds ticked off the clock and the horn sounded all the juberlation and excitement ended and all that was left was the defending champs posing for yet another picture and I couldn't help but think I was here before it was like 2009 all over again. Congratulation to the White Plains team, coaches, players, fans and church, you should be proud of the way in which this team performed all year and hopefully next season they could make it three straight. Well until next time this is Milo signing out remember to give God thanks and praise for all that he has done for you in these troubling times. Keep God first and foremost and he would do the rest. Have a happy summer and look forward to another season where the competition would be fiercy to say the least.
Until next time this is Milo signing out. God Bless.
